snoring and sleep apnea
".I'm singing the praises of an orthodontist who has cured my snoring/sleep apnea without my having to be hooked up to a machine, without surgery, without drugs, without nose strips - it's awesome!...Since using it, I haven't snored or even moved all night long." L.B., patient

We have a solution that could change your life! Our doctors make a removable appliance that locks both arches into place, pulling the lower jaw forward, thereby opening the airway to ease breathing. All it takes is an hour for an evaluation, a panoramic x-ray, and molds of your teeth, and at the second appointment your new appliance is fitted and adjusted to your mouth. The fee includes the appliance itself and a number
of adjustments. We make the appliances in-house which enables
us to keep your cost down. You will be pleased to know the cost
is much lower relative to other offices in the area. |

Our offices offer a splint that is initially
used as a diagnostic tool to determine if any other type treatment
might be needed, such as braces or possibly surgery. Most often,
patients with TMJ problems have teeth that hit unevenly, causing
pain in the joint and muscles. Wearing the splint allows the inflammation
in the joint to heal by allowing the teeth of one jaw to rest evenly
on the splint rather than on teeth of the opposing jaw. If you grind
your teeth at night, the splint also relieves the jaw of stress from
grinding. Once you are out of pain, then a determination is made
as to whether other treatment is needed, or whether the splint itself
can be used to treat the disorder. The cost of the splint includes
two initial visits; one for the evaluation, x-rays and molds of your
teeth, the second to deliver and adjust the appliances to your mouth.
It also includes a number of adjustments. Depending on your insurance
policy, this splint may be covered under your major medical portion.
While we are not providers, we are happy to file this as a courtesy
to you. Check with your provider or human resource manager for details
on your specific policy.
